When we arrived there was a long wait to check in (at least 8-10 ppl in front of us). I used that time to read all these reviews. A group in line had a problem and their rooms weren t available. They were really upset. That plus the reviews started getting me real nervous. However, the wait went pretty quick (30 mins or so, nothing to freak out over), the check in process was smooth and fast. The worker girls were understandably frustrated with certain people but polite and keeping it together. The room was huge and clean, no problems to report. No bed bugs, no trash, door locked no problem. It was really cool actually. I like old weird stuff so the sort of old lady gaudy grey gardens vibe was fine with me, as long as it was clean and safe and I had no problems I was down with it. They held $50 and it came back in 2 days. All in all either I got lucky or there s a lot of picky people out there. It s in a cool location, cheap uber to good spots. Give it a try if you re not too fussy.
