Haven't been to too many resorts living in lower mainland. Have been to Whistler in the past. I would say Sunpeaks is way better overall. It's not too busy, better snow (dry), and relatively inexpensive. We stayed at the coast hotel which is right there by the ski hill. Such a convenient location. Food is pricier up there so make sure you bring your own food if you have a kitchen. Restaurants are pretty good also. Great place for the family! It is my kids first time skiing. I've put them in ski school and they had such a wonderful time. We are already talking about making this an annual winter tradition.
