I took my family, wife and two daughters, to Toyota Carlsbad on Saturday at approximately 1:30pm to go look at two different vehicles. We were deciding between two different ones at Toyota (different styles) and one over at Weseloh Chevrolet. Like a shark seeking prey within minutes of walking in the parking lot a salesman approached and asked if we were looking to buy a car that day, I let him know we were trying to decide between a couple styles and what best would fit our family, and asked if he could get the keys to open one and possibly test drive. He had said he would but seemed rude and short after we made it clear we were still in the research phase not buying mode, he said "I'll be right back, let me go check something". 25 minutes passed after that with no return nor help from him. So instead of seeing any car that day at Toyota we stood helpless in the lot, I went to the office but was waved off by someone inside on the phone. This all happened after last Saturday when we were approached by a salesman who saw us looking at the Sequoia and gave a look when we were letting him know we were considering it but tried pushing us to the Rav4 saying it would suit us better. Thank you Toyota Carlsbad for proving how worthless, careless, and totally rapacious your salesman are. Through the years I have bought two vehicles from you, never again will I make that mistake.
