My parents went yesterday to purchase a new Ford Edge or Explorer. It took 20 minutes before someone even approached us. Finally we got someone to help us, Ethan. The salesman began to help us with what we were interested looking at. We found a new 2019 Edge SEL that had what we wanted. We began discussing payment options and spent 2 hours getting it done. But, we come to find out it was sold. So we look at a 2019 Edge Titanium. It was closing time so we told them, please work out the numbers and give us a call since we live 2 hours away and don t want to waste the trip. Ethan had an appointment at 9:30 and told us he would contact us so we could head over to meet him at 2pm on Saturday. Well it is now 2 and we get no call. My father calls the dealership to speak with Ethan or Matt, the sales manager. Ethan was with someone and when being connected to Matt the receptionist hung up on my dad. He called back and Matt finally answers. My dad explained how he never got a call and Matt says he will call him back in 10 minutes with the figures, it is now 2:15p. We do not get a call back until 5p from Ethan. He tells us the figures and my dad says ok I will need to discuss with my wife and get back to you in 30 minutes the most. We get a text from him to authorize to pull their credit and no more than 5 minutes later, Ethan texts us telling us the car is possibly going to be sold. He then insists on a car that did not have what my parents wanted. Then at 6 my dad gets the text that the car is sold. Never in all our experience have we dealt with something like this before. Horrible experience and waste of our time. Obviously they don t care about the customer and just want to get a sale. I wouldn t even give them 1 star.
