I am currently on the last night of my stay at this hotel with my girlfriend. We chose the Boston Park Plaza Hotel based on the quality of their hotel. What I am about to mention would normally not bother me, if the hotel was a lower class hotel.

We arrived to the hotel after our flight on Sunday. The bell hops were out front opening the doors of everyone s cars except ours and didn t offer to help with our bags. We then find out parking isn t included in our stay. They charge over $50 dollars a day to valet park your car. I had my girlfriend ask about the situation before we parked. We did not plan to spend an extra $200+ to have our rental car exist at the hotel we are staying at, so we parked at a parking garage for $38 a night. When we check in the woman at the front desk tells us we can park on the street for free on Sundays. This is rediculous to mention after we parked and after we already asked about the parking situation, so the hotel had us waste our money. The woman then had the audacity to say well you can exit the parking garage now and only spend $12 and find free parking on the street . Then she gave me complimentary water bottles. I guess something I can drink out of the sink for free could somehow make up for it.

We get to our room, only to be disappointed about the size. I guess you just pay a premium price to have tile on your walls in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it can only fit one person and there is barely any counter space.

Later that day Expedia asked me to rate my stay so far, so I mentioned the unexpected fees, the absurd cost of parking and the small room. The hotel reached out to me to address these issues. They gave the excuse we mention our parking rates online and the price is because of competitive parking rates in the city . I understand the competitive rates for people who aren t staying in the hotel, but you charging your guests more than independent parking garages is rediculous, so instead of being able to spend my money at the hotel I chose the independent parking.

Anyway, I replied to them stating they did nothing to fix this problem, and that I was going to leave a poor review. They stopped responding and I haven t heard anything for 2 days. That says three things:

1. They are unprofessional.
2. They have poor customer service.
3. They don t care about their guests.

I have zero tolerance for these 3 things, which is why my review drops to 1-Star. (should be zero). I do not recommend anyone to stay here, especially when you give them a chance to make things right, but they just make it worse with a poor attitude.

At the company I work for, we never ignore guests it s not hard. I will not stay here ever again. Also the walls are thin and room service ends at 11 pm.
