Bought a box of their English breakfast tea bags as a potential upgrade from supermarket bagged tea without going to the trouble of loose leaf. Very surprised at how bad it was! Clearly worse than the office Yorkshire tea that I switched from. In fact, the worst tea I have ever drunk, with a brackish, wet cardboard flavour being about all there is to detect. This was confirmed by a number of newspaper taste tests where the experts deemed Whittard's English breakfast dead last amongst a group of cheaper brands. Will avoid Whittard's products completely in the future.
