"I can do whatever I want" were the words of the lady at the door. Sums it up - white woman didn't let us in (5 people - 1 white male, 3 black females and 1 Portuguese female) despite emailing before to ensure we would be allowed in. Perhaps it was because we were late (it was around 12) they immediately told us they were full and it was reservation only.
Until we saw a group of white girls being allowed to queue up when they said they didn't have a reservation.
Quite disappointed & sceptical about the way this club is run.
It's transparent that you need to live an "image" lifestyle to get in but shallow guests do not make a successful club. It does bring money however, so well done in running a successful club for rich, ignorant people! I applaud you for that.
At least train your staff to pretend like they're not discriminating against you or to tell more believable lies.
I would attempt again to see if the treatment is the same but they seem to allow minimal power to justify discrimination (racial & class based discrimination).
This is never justified and I am extremely shocked as this is multicultural London & liberal values should be applied here.
