I received a call today from someone confirming my appointment. They asked to make sure "Mrs. Hoy" is there. I said, "Excuse me?" She kept insisting that Mrs. Hoy be present for the appointment, and that these are high end windows. I told her there is no Mrs. Hoy, I made the appointment myself, and I am paying for the windows. She then asked if I would reschedule my appointment to make sure Mrs. Hoy is there. Since when did a window company pry into people's private lives, ask about marital status? So having a Mrs. is a requirement to doing business with you? What other criteria will you have next? Needless to say I cancelled my appointment.
