So got tickets last minute to see Mos Def here, who now goes by yasim bey. He went on late which is typical for him. He did play for almost two hours, which was cool. The crowd had a weird vibe to them. Mostly white, of course but they just weren't getting as hyped as they should. You could tell that he wanted to feed on the energy in the room but just wasnt getting it. Anyway dude still has mad flow and can rock a mic. As for the venue they are always a class act and so it right. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I love that this is in my neighborhood and I'll keep coming back.
