Saloni Naik Review of Cornerstone Apartment Services
Whatever you do, do not live at a Cornerstone apar...
Whatever you do, do not live at a Cornerstone apartments. This is the worst apartment and management company I have ever dealt with. I recently moved out and could not be happier about this.
See below for a list of problems I had at Clarkson Commons, a Cornerstone property:
1. The walls are paper thin. I could hear everything my neighbors did. On top of that, the building itself creeks and makes noises at all times. If you are light sleeper, LOOK ELSEWHERE. It was impossible to fall asleep many times because of all the noise.
2. The apartment wifi is awful. When I first moved in I attempted to get Century Link service but never established connectivity, so I had to resort to using the building wifi. (This was both Cornerstone and Century Link's fault). I worked from home a couple of times but constantly had connectivity issues which kept me from getting anything done. Wifi was not good enough for my laptop, apple tv, or my phone. There was even a full month where the wifi was completely down. I expect better.
3. Pretty sure they do not fully clean the apartment between moves. There were many things around the apartment that were not up to par when I moved in.
4. Temperature regulation is a joke. My apartment was constantly a swamp despite my best efforts.
5. Management is uncooperative. I asked about subleasing my apartment but was told outright that I could not do so with absolutely no explanation. I was forced to pay a lease break fee.
