A traditional Bonn pub 2 houses away from Beethove...

A traditional Bonn pub 2 houses away from Beethoven's birthplace, open daily from 12 noon until "late". A typical Rhenish brewery with good local cuisine, where you can meet for a beer or a good, hearty meal. The staff is happy at work, I have never seen "suffering", listless waiters here. The kitchen is usually still open until around 10 p.m.
Thursdays is steak day: 200 g rump steak with French fries and herb butter for only 11.40! Except for one time, it was always tasty and good.
Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside very nicely.
The guest rooms are an extremely long hose with lots of wood. The richly decorated, carved wooden columns and the ceiling in the bar area as well as the wall paintings are very beautiful.
The inn was founded in the 18th century. operated. Beethoven's father is said to have been a regular guest here, so that condolences were expressed to the landlord when he died. The brewery and distillery have long since disappeared. The building now belongs to the Bitburger brewery, which has leased it further. But since this is largely unknown, there are good local beers.
