On the outside it is very reminiscent of a large concrete stone mass, a somewhat bunker-like construction. Not really attractive or something that would be admitted today as a building at that location, but the hotel still radiates its former glory inside. And it is of course a nice centrally located place to stay. Not far from cities such as Leiden and The Hague. A perfect starting point for walking in the dunes in the wider area. And culinary a paradise not to be missed. In 2018, we ate at the Breakers Beach House beach pavilion, La Terasse brasserie and Latour star restaurant in 2018 and never complained to us. All three offer perfect quality - with Latour certainly as a topper - with a reserved but certainly not stiff service. And that in itself is special because the hotel is the meeting place of the notables from The Hague and surroundings. And that certainly gives the diners a separate cachet.
