I myself have not visited Stamford Plaza but I am ...

I myself have not visited Stamford Plaza but I am writing this review on behalf of my Grandmother who visited yesterday. This is what she has to say:

"At the Stamford Plaza I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food supplied at the event. The staff were also particularly pleasant.
However, people present, myself included, using walkers or/and wheelchairs were appalled that the only handicapped toilet facility was on the ground floor. The event was held on the second floor.
Isn't there some regulation that requires large establishments who want a high level of rating to provide handicapped toilets on all levels among their other facilities?"

I was shocked to hear of this happening and disappointed that for all of the 5 star ratings that Stamford Plaza have received, the public toilets open to event attendees, were left desperately wanting for something as simple as a handicapped-friendly facility on the same floor as the event. Having to go down/up a floor as not a problem for most, but for someone with a handicap it is a different story, and this story is a sad story.
I want to know if there are regulations that require the necessary attention to handicap facilities for ALL establishments (large or small) and if there isn't... THERE NEEDS TO BE ONE ASAP.
Not. Okay.
