This operation claims to be an ALL volunteer ambulance service. However; it should be known that Monday - Friday from 6am to 6pm and all day on Sunday 6am to 6am Monday morning, they have a contract with Atlantic Ambulance Corporation. This means you will get a bill for service if you need an ambulance when the volunteer members are not on duty. The volunteers are on duty Monday to Saturday 6pm-6am. So hopefully if you need them, get sick at night!!! The bill that Atlantic sends out is quite costly, roughly $1200 dollars. The problem is that the residents of Warren Township are not made aware of this until the bill comes in the mail from Atlantic. Yet I get donation flyers in the mail from the volunteer squad and I see them in the road near the library asking for coins. This practice is very deceiving to the residents of the community and should be addressed by the Township Comittee.
