This place is awesome! It was just re-opened in July, 2018 after a huge remodel, we visited right after it re-opened. It was so hot outside but fully air-conditioned inside, that was the best!! Lots of cool history exhibits under the arch! There was so much more, we only made it through 2 sections before we had to get in line for our tram ride up to the top. We stood in line for longer than expected. You buy your tickets when you first enter the building for a specific time to get on the tram, we got ours for an hour later than it was when we went in, thinking that would be plenty of time. After you get your tickets you go through security and then you can go through the exhibit and go into the shop or deli. They said to get in line for the ride up 5 minutes before the time on your ticket, which we did, but then we stood in the line for an hour. The kids got really bored, If we had known it was going to take that long, one of us would have stood in line while the other parent walked around with the kids or grabbed them a snack at the deli until time to go up. Once up at the top it is an awesome view all around! Really cool experience!
