Visited last week. Understanding the current situation we waited at the door as requested. And waited and waited and waited! Three staff members walked passed us without acknowledgement. I have been visiting the pub for 10 years when we stay in the village, as others say a shadow of its former self! They have a great brand, mention Burnham and the answer is The Hoste! They now have competition in the village and they have got it right, and these places are busy, slick and on their game! I can t understand why someone can t take The Hoste back to it s former glory there must skilled hospitality people in the market, they have a captive audience in a busy village and let s be honest that audience aren t short of a coin! Sad and frustrated!
