Based on our research, my husband and I had a feeling that the bearing on my 2013 volt failed. I first took my car to Stevens Creek Chevy. The service advisor was anything but helpful. He was more focused on telling me the cost of inspections rather than listening to my concerns and thoughts and even said that most the time when people do research on their own, they aren't right. Which I'm sure may be true, but that doesn't mean you should discount your customers' idea of what the problem could be.

Any who, I then took my car to Chevy Fremont, hoping for a better experience. I told Justin, the service advisor about the whining noise my car was making and was about to say that I believed it was the bearing when he beat me to the punch! THANK YOU JUSTIN! He was very knowledgeable and just having him actually listen to my concern was a breath of fresh air rather than just being told I may not know what I'm talking about lol. Anyways, he was upfront regarding potential charges if it wasn't covered under warranty or if the problem wasn't the bearing after all. Luckily, the problem was the bearing and it was totally covered under warranty. They took care of my car, charged the battery for me, and ran it through the wash. Chevy Fremont restored my faith in dealerships and I will 100% be a repeat customer at this Chevy.
