*My latest review as of 5/10/2021:
I lowered the star rating down to 3 stars. The reason is that my EA= employer assistant has left IHAS and I was given a new one who is rude, smart mouthed and lacks communication skills! I am a team player. EA's are there to assist/help patients with all aspects of being a caregiver employer. When IHAS changes your employer assistant, they should make sure the EA is trained for that specific job. Not just anyone has an aptitude for working closely with the public! These service agencies have a habit of giving a general payroll person a public position with no public training. Look at all the payroll reviews with this and other service agencies?
Try complaining to their bosses and you get more rude and poorly publicly trained personnel. If you want to get attention, contact the state and federal regulatory agency and file official complaints! You can also file payroll problems with the state and federal wage and hour boards! People who get shorted or cheated don't get their money because they don't follow the US law and file complaints with all the proper agencies. Don't forget to contact all state and federal representatives, like your state/federal representative, congressman/woman and senators.
My current employer assistant EA#6 seems to be the second (2nd) best assistant I ever had. Cristal has always paid my caregiver on time except once, she corrected the mistake the very next day! I will say that insurance companies (lobbists) and meddling government bureaucrats (HHS), cause great stress and harm to all service companies who serve patients such as IHAS!! Just when service companies and patients get settled in, here comes changes!! IHAS and companies who serve patients save taxpayers huge amounts of $$money that would be spent on bad nursing homes! Patients who do not have anyone to designate, to do their learning, training and paperwork because of changes, end up in bad nursing homes!!! Patients and designated reps all need to contact their politicians, state/federal HHS (health and human service commissions), telling them to talk directly with us before any changes are made!! We know our needs and can guide any/all changes. Our bodies belong to us and not some insurance company or insenesitive bureaucrat! I know how nearly impossible it is to get a bureaucrat (or lip service staff) to respond to our calls, emails and faxes! Stop voting for any incumbent politician that chairs or sits on the HHS board, who does not reach out to ask for patient thoughts? Our community political outreach is well beyond the age of limited phone calls/faxes. The advanced AI and technology age we are in(communication tools) allows politicians to communicate with constituents before any decisions are ever made that could adversely affect either of us. If we don't Help Ourselves no one else will !!!
