I've used these folks for a couple of years now, but this last service was terrible. First off, it took them 8 weeks. I get it, they're busy. But 8 weeks? A few weeks back when I called them to see what was going on with my mower, they told me it was done and that someone would call me that day or the next to schedule a drop off. That came and went. I called back and they told me that the mower wasn't even ready! So one week it's ready and the next week it's not? The repair man who answered the phone was the one working on it and he stated that he knew it was not ready because the part that they had told me they had in stock, was actually just delivered. I was told during the process that the cost would $370 to get the mower fixed. I waited another week. Then I get a call to schedule the delivery. At this point they tell me that they also did the work on my pole saw and that the other chainsaw I dropped off wasn't worth fixing. Well no one called me to tell me what was wrong with either. They didn't tell me how much it would be because it was less than $160. Well it was $158. Wow, what a coincidence that it was 2 bucks shy of your minimum to call me. Heads up, if you're gonna work on someone's equipment, you should call and let them know so you can get an approval. This is not complicated. Fast forward to today when I get it dropped off and my mower repair turns out to be $445. Not the $375 I was quoted before. When I asked them about this, they just shrugged basically. "Not sure why they told you that." That's the answer I got. Well, the difference in price isn't the issue. It's the LACK OF COMMUNICATION. Pick up the phone and call your customers. Put processes in place for crying out loud. It's not complicated and it takes 5 minutes. I've spent a good amount of money between buying new equipment and repairs at this place, but no more. It's too bad, but a few phone calls would have been all it took to keep me as a returning customer.
