The Formula 1 racing was great. COTA still has a few things to learn for hosting a mass event; the exit strategy did not work. Some of the exits and roads were closed - open everything if you have 250,000 people coming! The app was hit and miss and for all the advertising that the race action could be heard via the app - they didn't pay the licence fee to stream so guess what - no race action commentary was on the app. You could hear it on the big screens - bit only when the F1 cars weren't screaming past - which wasn't often. Lastly, of you hold a concert to keep the crowd from all leaving at once (since the road issues aren't sorted) at least have it start on time. Those stadium seats aren't comfortable, if you then want to make everyone hang around, get some action started right after the last race, not 2, 3 or with lateness nearly 4 hours later.
