Such a great museum the mix of modern glass pyramid entrance and traditional buildings is magnificent. The collections within are hugely varied. TIP: Get there early if you can to avoid queues. TIP: Don't try to visit it all in one visit Go to see specific areas and then return another time It can be exhausting. The newer section on Islamic art was particularly interesting but then again everywhere is interesting. I like the MonaLisa but the experience of viewing it is not good as its small and can't get close So unless first into gallery recommend you don't waste time queuing just to see this one picture.
