I had the chance to visit this highly cultural place, and my admiration for painting, sculpture is enriched, exceptional ....
There is a library, reserved for students of the Fine Arts, a pity not to be able to access it, to attend a painting course is an unforgettable memory, the building itself is sumptuous .. A mythical School ....

Magnificent and essential place for lovers and curious of the city of Paris and Art in general, with its beautiful buildings and very interesting exhibitions.

The drawings cabinet offers delightful exhibitions presenting a selection of works on paper belonging to the fine art collections. Pocket museum, in one room, we approach some treasures (old or contemporary) rarely shown to the public. Right now, we are discovering learning from ancient times, a pleasure! The Academy of Fine Arts in Paris is an exceptional place in the capital, with in particular the courtyard of the mulberry tree and the large internal courtyard which regularly hosts temporary exhibitions. If at the entrance show you white leg it is possible to visit part of this vast building including in particular very beautiful sculptures of neoclassical type, neo gothic bas reliefs and in round of bump it is also an architecture worthy of interest .

I wonder if this is one of them.

When it's not open, some places are still accessible and it's a stroll of curiosity in its own right. There is this big central room of the site, a little abandoned and antique, if you are lucky, the door of a workshop will be opened and its occupants will let you watch their work. But hush, everyone is focused on creating.

It is a place that although it is not touristy, if you can enter, it is an incredibly beautiful place inside. The inner central courtyard is simply amazing.

The former abbey of the Lesser Augustians was abolished during the Revolution. The first open-air museum.

The whole is magnificent: 17th century chapel wanted by Queen Margot, 18th century private mansions on the Seine, facade of the study palace which inspired international "fine arts" architecture ... Two exhibition rooms , workshops, library ...

Just as an intrigued passerby at first, I was fascinated by this inspired place, full of creativity: we want to discover everything, to get lost in this architectural maze, and we would not want to leave anything out. We also want the gift, talent and imagination of these students, at work.On feels marginal, and afraid to profane art, by naive questions, but the curious mind is awake.Thank you and beautiful current expo, on Vinci and the drawings of the Italian Renaissance.
