I came to Valley Fair in the first years it started. Had a blast. Things seemed to kind of die off after that. No pictures were taken and the drink vender smaller stands were not open. I was beginning to think of not going, anymore.

Then Camp Snoopy was added and gave the little kids more opportunity to stay for a full day and keep interested. Lots of rides for them and some shows.

The water park there was always fun, but a little boring after awhile.

The water park has remodeled and added some attractions and food venders. I took my 9 year old grandson and his friend and they spent the whole day in the water park! I was disappointed because I like to ride the rides. But, it was their day and they were not bored and stayed playing all the while. There are lounge chairs set up all over. The one thing I would complain about is that people claim these chairs, then seem to keep them "saved" all day and are not using them until they are done and ready to dry off for the day, then they leave. I pretty much sat in the same spot all day and very very few chairs had people coming back to them for more than a minute or two. I think that's pretty inconsiderate. There is a place close by that offers drinks and beer and has music. I sat there and watched the wave pool.

All in all, I think Valley Fair has come a long way from what it was about 4 or 5 years ago. This was actually the best year I've ever gone, even if it was on the water park all day. The beverage stands were all open all day, the rides were going and so many choices about what to do next, if you wanted.

The food is so so spendy, though. And just food. I'm not really impressed by the fare. Lacks flavor. My best find is the Panda Express. I think. Went there on a "Latin Day" and saw food trucks set up with ethnic foods. Would definitely love to see that choice stay and more. I like ethnic food and I see a vast majority of people from all cultures who would eat that, if different food choices were brought in. Perhaps NY Gyro and more Latino choices.
