I checked in today and they gave a me a room on the 3rd floor which was looking outside of the hotel on the ground floor. I found the room a bit dark and went to reception if it s possible to change it. Everything was normal up until then. However the man at the reception looked me in the eye and he said the hotel is full however he can arrange me to a better room if I pay extra. I said no and got back to my room. My company called the hotel and they found a similar room for me on the higher floor. The reason that I gave 1 star is the non-standard procedure and not giving the best option from the beginning. This shouldn t be the approach from a 5 star hotel. Even though the hotel facilities look great, I won t stay this hotel again because of the receptionist attitude.
