This was the second time I stayed with Ibis Bencoolen. The first time on the 4th floor on June 8-10 was not very pleasant. The noise from other guests in the hallway enters the room. I was awakened by a big group of families and children before 8:30. There were too many guests on the floor. There was no toothbrush and I had to walk to the convenience store to get one in the middle of the night. The second time was a better experience with free toothbrush and the access to the very helpful Handy phone left in my room.

I also get conflicting messages when I called after I left and I was told I did not settle the bill yet, and a few minutes later I was told I did, and when communicated with the hotel about my lost items.

I have to commend the extra service extended to me when I left my jacket at the hotel. This was unexpected and much appreciated.
