One of my favorite venues to see a concert or show!! Last night was special because it was the 25th Anniversary of Danny Elfman, Catherine O'Hara, Paul Ruebens & many more doing the "Nightmare Before Christmas" show!! There was a very surprising appearance at the end of Tim Burton coming out on stage to say, Hello!! Also, Danny did his infamous, Dead Mans Party, song from his Oingo Boingo days...a truly amazing & rare treat!! This was my 3rd year of this special Danny Elfman show & the evening was perfect! I've seen so many concerts here & it's such a feeling of nostalgia!! A definite must go!! I would recommend bringing a blanket on chilly nights, either to wrap up with or sit on, if you have bleacher seating. They do have cushions to rent if you forget. Walking to the actual performance area can be a little of a workout, so, for the ladies, I recommend shorter heals, if you must wear them! I had roasted cauliflower tacos there last night that were very yummy!! They have a pretty wide selection of food, wine & beer & on certain shows, you can bring in your own food. For example, when they have The Playboy Jazz Festival. Sitting outside under the moon, the stars, the lights is fabulous!! Special note...take the Park & Ride shuttle ($7) if you can, parking is overpriced ($26) & a long wait getting out of the lot! You can find more info through Ticketmaster. Also, you can drink on the shuttle... Bonus!! Happy Halloween, Everyone!!
