I adopted a kitten here, I was so happy and so excited to give him a forever home. When I adopted him, they didn't go over any medical history regarding my kitten, Binx. The woman just told me to feed him extra cause he wasn't eating much. they told me kittens can just be picky eaters and to try different foods, so I thought it was nothing alarming.

Two days later, I'm having to syringe force feed this tiny baby. Four days after adopting him I had to euthanize him because he basically starved to death. Looking at the paperwork that came with him, they noted the weekly weight loss (NOT NORMAL for a kitten), They literally adopted a starving cat out. Two days after adopting him, after his wellness check, I called the shelter to let them know he still wasn't eating and asked for help, they just told me just to bring him back to be adopted by someone else, and then decided to tell me that a kitten in his litter was euthanized for something wrong with his litter. That would have been good to know.

The last four days were the worst days of my life. If they had gone over his medical history with me and told me he was literally not eating AT ALL, has calicivirus, and a kitten in his liter was euthanized, I would have taken him to the emergency clinic immediately. They also adopted him out with a calicivirus ulcer in his throat (which if I had other cats at home, they would have been affected), I was made aware of this two days after the adoption when I called prodding for more medical history. Now I'm stuck with a vet bill over $1000, after adopting him four days ago. Rest in peace my sweet baby Binx.
