We built a new house and needed railing up the front steps and across the end of the front porch. We were given an allowance for the railings and as often is the case, we purchased over that amount for a better product. Two months after the iron railings were installed, rust appeared at the base of the balusters. Told "that's just the nature of iron". After two months? Next after much discussion, they sent out a crew to "touch up" the rust. Original was spray painted and touched up with a brush which left terrible brush strokes. Worker told me if when it dried, I didn't like the work, call us and we will come out and spray it. It didn't and they won't.
