BrandonAshley Kunz Review of M2 Anesthesia
This has been the most awful company. My six year ...
This has been the most awful company. My six year old child was traumatized after one of their anesthesiologists forcefully grabbed her head and forced on a mask while two assistants held her hands down with no warning...my daughter hadn t even laid down in the chair yet. My daughter cried and panicked saying "I can't breathe" while two assistants blocked me from being able to hold her hands.
I have accompanied my daughter for every dental procedure as she has anxiety, and there have been no incidents until m2anesthesia became involved in providing the anesthesia. There was no pre-op vitals obtained and when I asked for them to check her oxygen saturation, the anesthesiologist told me to get out of the room. I left the room with the dentist who apologized immediately, and waited in the lobby crying and shaking with shock.
They treated my daughter with no respect for her bodily autonomy. The directors response even proves his opinion of children...that they use a ploy by saying they can t breathe. No, My daughter was terrified because your anesthesiologist slapped a mask over her face unexpectedly, forcibly held her head down, and two of her assistants held her hands down. I m glad I was there to witness and expose the treatment she received because you want to hide how awful you treat children.
I am a registered nurse and have never treated a patient so poorly. My daughter REMEMBERS what was done to her. My dentist was visibly upset by the treatment and apologized profusely. I have had both phone conversations with my dentist where he stated that this is not how we do it around here and he texted me several times afterward too, apologizing repeatedly. I have kept those text conversations and can provide proof to that fact. The dentist actually witnessed what happened. Don t be fooled by the directors response to my post...the dentist was very unhappy with the treatment me and my daughter received under this anesthesiologist. The director was not there and he has fabricated several things that transpired. As I said, he discredits rather than listens.
He has apologized online because he doesn t like my review but when I spoke to him on the phone privately, he was so rude that I was shocked and crying. My husband was in the room and heard every part of our conversation and was extremely upset at the directors belittling response.
My daughter woke up after the procedure was over and was crying about the treatment she received. She has since said she is afraid to go back to the dentist.
When I called the medical director of this company to share my concerns, he blamed my child! He refused to apologize or reimburse us, and told me he "didn't care" if I filed a complaint with the DOH because he has "150 other contracts" across the state. He originally offered to reimburse us but then rescinded his offer, saying that he wasn t going to reimburse us our $300 because it was my daughter s fault.
He made me cry on the phone, tried to discredit my career as an RN, belittled me as a mother, blamed my daughter, and was so rude that I hung up the phone on him. He talked over me and used his position to intimidate. He did not take my concern seriously and tried to explain it away. Be very wary of this company and DO NOT trust your children with them. The directors response only solidified my opinion of this company as being unprofessional, belittling, and providing unethical care to children. This should have been a non traumatic tooth extraction under general anesthesia for my daughter, and now she has been emotionally traumatized.
I do not accept his public apology because it is intended to discredit me, insincere as he still blames my daughter, fabricates the event, and dismisses my concerns that my daughter is still emotionally traumatized.
Any parent out there dares to allow this company to put anesthesia on their child, make sure you accompany your kid back as they might use some ploy of being afraid when they have a mask forcibly slapped on their face and are restrained by the m2anesthesia staff.
