My daughter is a Texas State student and was taken to the ER of this hospital with acute back pain, nausea and vomiting. She was treated by Arun Nair, M.D. who took a history, gave her pain medication and released her. Not even as much as an x-ray or scan to determine the cause. I drove to San Marcos to pick her up and bring her to Houston for proper care. An simple x-ray showed the presence of possible kidney stones. A scan verified stones as large as 3/4 inches. Dr. Nair wrongly assumed it was a previous back injury. Shame on Dr. Nair for not being more thorough and investigating the cause himself.
