The slopes here are a great cross-section of advanced (*by midwest standards), intermediate and beginner terrain.
By rocky, wasatch, Teton or sierra mountain standards, these would be blue runs. There's not a lot of moguls and there is 388' of vertical.
There are several decent quad chairs, there is a great beginner section with several small doglegs and also a medium-sized but good bunny slope with magic carpets.
We've never taken lessons here and ive never stayed at the inn, to me the room rates seem high - i located hotels nearby that were about 40% less, but convenience costs.
The resort staff are reasonable, ive never had any of them be overly friendly or rude. The locals riding here dont go out of their way to interact with visiting boarders.
The one ski patroller i interacted with was friendly and personable.
Of the resorts close to me, this one is the top choice for the slopes.
The cafeteria here is exceedingly basic, don't expect espresso or fancy capuccinos or paninis. Chicken tenders, burgers, cheeseburgers, chili, nachos, etc.
