Do not trust their Service Dept. They will Lie and never contact you back.
My Experience:
I had a check engine light diagnosed at autozone (for free) and it showed a Bad o2 sensor. I called up the dealership and got a quote of $220 to $240 for parts and labor.
The next day I dropped the Car off and the service tech recommended that I have them do a diagnostic also to be sure, and that the cost of it would be applied to the repair. I agreed to this. I also presented a coupon I received in the mail and was told to hold on to it and show it when I pick up the car and pay.
A full day passes without any word, when I call in they confirm that it is the o2 sensor and the cost to repair it will be $340. When I ask about the difference between this and my phone quote I m told the difference is for the diagnostic fee and I misunderstood him about it applying towards the repair. I grudgingly agree to the repair.
Another whole day passes without contact. When I call in I m told my car is done. I arrive to pay and present the coupon to the cashier who tells me it needed to be shown when I dropped the car off. I explained that I did and was sent back out the service techs to have it applied. It took three tech s and 30min to have them apply the coupon. I inquired again about the diagnostic fee not applying to the repair and am told typically it does, however there are no notes and I will have to wait till the original service tech returns from lunch and discuss it with him. I was unwilling to waste any more of my lunch time waiting at the dealership, paid and left.
Original quote $220 price ended up paying $310 Time taken to replace an o2 Sensor 3 days
