Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge was the most incredibly insulting experience. I went there based on an advertised price they had for a vehicle I was interested in. They told me that they advertise their pre-owner vehicles for $3500 less than the actual price. The $3500 is in incentives for customer loyalty, military discount, and college grad rebate. When I discovered this I told them this was an unrealistic price for me and that I'm no longer interested. The manager Jim, then proceeded to tell me that he's a straight shooter and that he's not here to waste my time and that the prices he offers are better than any other dealer. I told him I appreciated his time, but again these prices are unrealistic for me. As I began to walk away he began to follow me out and told me that I've been condescending to him and his sales people and that I can get the f*** out. After hearing that I told him that I will not be harassed and that I will write a review to reflect my negative experience. After hearing that I would write a negative review, he lost his temper and got in my face and started ranting about his 20 years of experience. I really liked the car that I saw, but was shocked at the near assault. Car purchases are all about negotiation, but Jim, the man with supposed 20 years of military experience doesn't understand what the word respect means and shouldn't even be allowed to step foot into a car dealer.
