I contacted a specific skip company to book a skip...

I contacted a specific skip company to book a skip. Now Quotatis, who I've never heard of, have sold my details to a ton of other skip companies.

If those companies were contacting me to give me a quote, I'd have been fine with that. But they're all contacting me without quotes, telling me to go to their websites to fill out all the same details again to get a quote, because they have no idea who I am or what I'm looking for.

So what exactly is the point of Quotatis, other than opting into a load of spam marketing?
