I've bought 2 riding lawnmowers, 2 chainsaws and a couple of trimmers from Hill Country over the years. I believe in supporting local businesses. But, my most recent visit will be my last. Just last week I went in to purchase two new blades for my riding lawnmower. The gentleman who waited on me was condescending and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about when I told him I needed two new blades. Finally, this past weekend when I started to change them, I realized he had given me the wrong size. Of course, they were closed so I purchased them from Home Depot...hassle free. Just because I'm female doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about regarding lawn equipment. They all need to take a class of customer service.
