I entered the ER recently for Covid. This was early in the day. The day shift nurses did the best, most complete job on me. And looked after me constantly. I was a lot better by the time I left. Why the 1 star?

My wife had it too. She was just a little behind in symptoms. And it was late at night when she needed to go in. bad timing. The nigh nurses were the worst ever. Rude. And acted like they could care less about patients. They don't belong in this field. I had to encourage my wife to tell them whatever she had to to get things done. What amazes me. Is I showed Covid pneumonia. Yet, my wife did not. Her cough is more severe than mine. And she sits back every day for work. I keep my lungs open and healthy. Go figure. Anyway. She was only in there 2 or 3 hours versus my 6. Her BP was far higher than mine. And they did not chest scan. They did one on me.
So the kind of care you get depends on who's doing the caring. The night time ER's are notorious for employing people the day shifters want no part of. And I am mostly referring to female nurses. The men seem to be more passionate about their job. The passionate women work during the day. Solve that puzzle. Just remember that. Go during the day.
