Sales - I've always bought used cars, so I've never had the new(er) car sales experience before, so this is probably VERY typical and exactly as GM expects, but I was quoted one price for my trade in, a price for the purchase, monthly payment amount, and an interest rate. As soon as I got in the room with the "Closer" (financier I suppose?) everything changed. There are a lot of options that are pushed and must be decided on the spot, and once you're in that little office, the pressure to sign now is quite intense. I felt hustled into a payment amount I wasn't expecting - I'll stick with used from now on.

Service Centre - they know their stuff, and they give rides to and from work, but the repair costs are too high. 1 battery, 1 door latch, inspection, interior clean, transmission hose, transmission flush = $1500.
