During my visit I found this place to be bland and unsure of itself mostly. The building itself is beautiful but all the exhibitions I saw were discreet and dull. However you do however get free entry to Sonneveld House (a wonderful modernist building next door) with your ticket and that is one of Rotterdam's treasures. A must-see. Only visit Het Nieuwe Institut if you have done everything else you want to do in Rotterdam.
