Really a great place to sit and have a beer. Please don't be uproarious, as there are people eating.
The Hamachi Tartare was drowned in vinegar and vegetable matter to the extent that we could literally not taste the fish (hamachi).
Scallops were fantastic. Beautifully prepared and presented.
Calves liver was pretty good, though ten seconds from dry...
Waiter was upselling. Very odd. We simply must have something in the vegetable realm. OK...give us the spinach...
Spinach had sand quantities suitable for a beach umbrella. This is where I found issue...I don't like the feeling of grit between my teeth. THEN...
Busboy took our bread plates and was confused about giving us new ones, though the bread boat remained at harbor. Waiter was then confused about the concept of "please bring a butter knife for the bread"... and brought 2 steak knives. "I have steak knives".
"Yes you do. But we would like butter knife. A moment, please....One sole regular knife. Not two. Not a butter knives. Very strange. Who cares? Well it was just part of the parody...except it should have been a nice meal.
