In the past few weeks we have been to Van der Poel...

In the past few weeks we have been to Van der Poel IJs in Hengelo a number of times (just outside the city center). Indicated that I have a gluten intolerance and would like ice cream that does NOT contain gluten. I was kindly helped by a number of young gentlemen and to be sure they checked with a supervisor / boss. In the end 3 scoops of ice cream and a gluten-free cone, she got the ice cream from separate containers, top service I thought! In the evening I got unwise stomach pains and got nauseous, not thinking about gluten as the staff assured me that this was really gluten free. This a number of times over, last week we went to get ice cream again. I chose the ice creams that I chose every x and asked again explicitly whether they were gluten-free, now I got the answer that they contain traces of. I contain thinking traces of ????? That explained my complaints from the times before. The employee as another supervisor indicated that this ice cream is also made in the machines where the ice cream is made with certain gluten (biscuits). I reported my complaints from the weeks before and was answered that it had happened and he does not want to argue with me. Very angry that I had ordered an ice cream and got into the car crying afterwards. Apparently some people don't understand what this does with confidence, because it took me a long time to trust other people preparing my foods. The worst thing about this situation is that no sorry came off, but I didn't have to moan like that. So for gluten intolerant people, don't eat here, it seems nice, until complaints occur in staff incompetence. In addition, I blame the young people in the NIKS case, because they have repeatedly inquired with one of the supervisors / bosses.

Never again.
