I had a less than great experience with Bobby Beck...

I had a less than great experience with Bobby Beck VW today. I had inquired about a car online and spoke with Landon about my TDI buyback, about the new car and what they could possibly do for me. After getting off the phone with Landon, Patrick sends me a text asking me a few questions. I let him know that I would be coming in the next day to look at it. I ask him to send me a breakdown of the pricing -never recieved.

I get to the dealership and I have to wait almost 10 minutes for Patrick and once I get to talk to him he doesn't know the vehicle I which vehicle I was looking at and when he does find it he comes back with a price that was almost $6K over the online price. While I understand that dealer incentives do expire, Patrick said there was nothing he could do to bring the price down. No effort was made to try to get me into a car after that. I felt like my time was wasted due to the fact all of this could have been done over the phone and a trip would not have been wasted.

Even after that I go home and I see a used car almost an exact match to the one I was looking at previously a lot closer to my price range at their dealership. I wish someone would have mentioned it to me while I was at the dealership so I could have looked at it. It was dissapointing to find this out after I was already home.

I'll be sticking with my original dealership instead.

I think I might have caught Patrick on a bad day because he seemed unprepared and unknowledable. If I do ever go back here I will ask for Landon because he was great.

My three stars are for the general environment, Landon and the service department because I had a great experience there previously.
