My family memeber has been there for over a year now and I can t say our experience with her there has been great. From not noticing her cloudy urine, to not doing anything about the several open wounds on her body because her skin integrity wasn t being monitored even though she s BED RIDDEN, to feeding her foods she couldn t chew after we requested accommodations several times, so instead she had to go hungry. It s very concerning to know that these are things they should be noticing/trying to actively prevent, yet they are being so easily overlooked. If you have a family member here, make sure you really advocate for them because no one else will. The attitudes and rudeness from many of the staff members is very disappointing. I understand this is not an easy job and it can get very frustrating but do they really think that the patients want to be there any more than they do? if Asbury wants to be known for PATIENT CENTERED CARE they really need to makes some changes.
