I ordered 5lbs of the Frozen Chopped XHot Hatch Green Chile. I fried 3lbs of cubed pork, drained then opened two unthawed 1lb bags of the Chopped XHot Hatch Green Chile and poured them into the pork. Before I could even stir it in, the aroma instantly transported me back to my Grandma Baca's Kitchen in the 1970's. After stirring in the chopped green chili and allowing it to simmer for 20-30 minutes I enjoyed the most robust full flavors I have experienced in decades. I have always enjoyed The Fresh Chile Company's jarred green and red chile for super convenient chile but the Frozen Chopped has been my favorite so far.
