I had been to the event space for a wedding and was excited to try the food here on a weekend in Beacon with friends. We thought it would be an enjoying late lunch before we drove back to the city, but the bottom line is that the Roundhouse Patio has nice views but inattentive, inconsistent and slow service (had to wait 15 min for waters, saw our drinks sit on the bar for 10 minutes before they were brought to us, heard the manager tell a server to go check on something himself instead of relying on someone else (hear, hear), staff dropped the check but didn't come back for it in a timely fashion). Most startling is the mussels I ordered arrived with 3/4 of them not having been cleaned properly (still had the beard on them - see photos), my friends enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the burger though, the tater tots were very nicely fried. All in all, I would not come back and tell anyone coming to Beacon to avoid this place.
