Worth a visit but not as well organised for visitors as it is for film crews and events. Nothing really in terms of children or family activities. Very few rooms opened as the family still lives there. The one important portrait of Queen Elizabeth was hidden away because of the film set and instead we saw a copy of it. Not a place I would visit again. Much prefer Burghley House or Holkham Hall.
