Review of Hotel Winn

This was a stunning hotel at the end of the strip ...

This was a stunning hotel at the end of the strip which is what we wanted as we didn t want to be directly in the centre (which is too busy).

The hotel itself, like all Vegas hotels is huge, it s connected to the Wynn and you can use all their amenities too, surprisingly the Encore didn t feel as big as the other hotels in Vegas, the way it was laid out, seemed to make it feel smaller .which is definitely a good thing!

Room was fantastic (we had the deluxe panoramic suite), it was pristine, excellent quality without the Vegas tackiness and very spacious with great views of the strip the downside (but not for us) to strip views is that you can hear the pool party s at night, but it s not loud enough to keep you awake, we enjoyed the likes of Avicii and Guetta s music in the background :-)

Pools were fantastic, both in the Encore and the Wynn (which you can use too) one of the Wynn s pools is adult only too which is good.

As you d expect food was great everywhere within the hotel, from poolside to the restaurants, they had everything you needed from fine dining to bar food .all of which were 5 star.

Service was excellent in the restaurants, casino, poolside, concierge and rooms reception desk could ve been better, they were not as polite or as helpful as the other staff in the hotel, plus we had an issue with our WI-FI bill and they were quite rude about it. They mislead us in telling us the WI-FI was included in our rate, but when we checked out we found out it wasn t, the bill wasn t huge but it was the principle .basically my understanding now is if you book from outside the states or indirectly with another travel provider you have to pay for WI-FI, if you book directly with the hotel, WI-FI is free. We asked them when we checked in and they said it was free (but they didn t know we booked via Virgin Holidays from the UK) so on checkout they charged us, saying that because we booked via the UK WI-FI was chargeable, so be careful.

I would recommend this hotel to all, everyone we came across within the hotel said it was their favourite hotel that they had stayed in within Vegas, even the taxi drivers said it was the best.

Even though the reception were not quite up to the standards of the rest of the hotel...I will still mark it excellent, as it was that good.
