I would recommend a call to someone else for septic work. First of all, a part of my back lawn was destroyed by a mini backhoe so I had to go buy sod and spend half a day fixing my yard. Why not just dig up the lid with a shovel? Secondly, Rooter PLUS came out for a $195 pump out and we ended up spending $2600. We probably needed the new baffle and the drain field pump out but I'm sure we could have done without the $1600 Oxidizer Plus treatment. I called them back a year later when the yard was becoming saturated in the area of the drain field and they said the drain field was failing and they could replace it for $7000. I called two other companies out who said the drain field was not failing but it wouldn't hurt to put in a new drain field. Their estimates for doing the exact same work were $3200 and $3500. Everyone I dealt with at Rooter PLUS was very nice but I just feel like I spent WAY more money than was necessary.
