The front end of buying our home was great from the salesperson to the preferred lender. The warranty and customer service department is dreadful. Our home is at the one year checkpoint and the builder does not stand behind their product. I will save you the boring details but it is excuse after excuse of why nothing is their responsibility. It is either that our expectations are to high or we should have said something before closing or the sub-contractor is responsible for the warranty. Rouse as a company is there to sell you a house and nothing more. Shameful

Update: I did meet with a rep from Rouse who was very interested in our feedback. He is looking into each issue and has made it clear our satisfaction is the top priority. Things have turned a corner and are looking up.

Since that meeting the builder has followed through on correcting each of our issues. Thanks to Mike, Rich and Melanie for making this happen.
