Horrible experience with SAB Cambridge. 1) They never replied to my application until I called them after a week (I actually could not call them directly because they never answered the phone, so I had to contact the London office who were very friendly and gave me the answer I needed within half an hour!)
2) The contract was very, very lazily composed. For example, they never mentioned the responsibilities of the landlord to pay the utility bills. When contacted the administrator literally said the following "we just use the same template for all the customers, but we and the landlord are aware of the utility bills". That statement and thinking cannot come from a professional person. Wasn't it a puspose of a contract to mention all the conditions? And how can a template contract be applied for all the different types of lettings anyway? Only after this, they added a sentence at the end of the contract. 3) I was disinformed during the viewing about the availability date and the furniture. This was later known after communicating directly with the landlord who was just as surprised. This also left me looking for a short-term accommodation and put through a lot of stress. And they never apologized. 4) The administrator was very unhelpful, lazy and unprofessional for a person working in customer services on every single occasion I ever contacted him.
Just avoid these guys.
