I had the best experience at Skydive Midwest for my first Skydive!

Some tips for first timers:
- Try to book for an earlier time-slot. I booked mine at 12:30 pm on a Saturday and overheard the guy who "checked-in" after me also booked for the same time-slot. I was called in around 3:30 pm and had my jump around 4:15 pm and by the time I was done, the guy was still in the waiting area.
- There will be a lot of waiting around during the weekend but you're free to leave the facility and they will give you a call when it's your turn.
- You will need to empty your pockets and leave them in your car or with someone who came with you (who's not skydiving). You will leave your car keys at the fish bowl at the front desk. I tried to leave my mobile phone with the front desk but they recommended to leave it in my car.
- If you have long hair, tie them securely.
- It will be very cold and windy when you're up in the sky even though my jump was in the summer and temperature on the ground was close to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, so dress appropriately (see next tip).
- Wear long sleeves or compression sleeves as your skin will be flapping away during your skydive.
- Make sure to secure your shoes tightly as I almost lost one of my shoes during the skydive lol
- At the end of your jump, they will give you an envelope to write any comments/feedback and give some tips for your instructor and photographer/videographer (if you had one included). I unfortunately did not bring any cash with me and felt really bad I couldn't leave any tips.
- All in all, the instructors are really friendly and joke around while making sure everything is safe and secure for you, so enjoy the moment!
